Module Certificate in Elementary Cantonese II for Non-Chinese Speakers

 


Course Objective:


The course aims to introduce basic oral and listening Cantonese skills to trainees to enable them to communicate in the workplace context. Upon completion of this course, trainees are expected to be able to use simple Cantonese to deliver brief reports on a limited range of familiar topics and contexts.

 


Course Content:


This course will be conducted in English and is suitable for non-Chinese speaking eligible employees in Hong Kong. The course will introduce social talk, workplace conversation, brief reports, discussion and proposal, job interview.

 


Entry Requirements:



  1. Non-Chinese speakers, and

  2. Completion of “Module Certificate in Elementary Cantonese I for Non-Chinese Speakers” of ERB, or equivalent qualifications awarded by other recognized institutes, or pass the entry test

 


Course Duration:


30 hours

 


Course Mode:


Half day or evening
