Module Certificate in Integrated First Aid

 


Course Objective:


To equip trainees with basic principles of First-Aid and Automated External Defibrillation (AED), to strengthen their techniques in performing basic First-Aid treatments, and to raise their consciousness of safety.

 


Course Content:


This course will be conducted in English and is suitable for non-Chinese speaking eligible employees in Hong Kong. The course will introduce the principles and practice of first aid, injury and bleeding, body systems and their functions, fractures, burns and scalds, CPR skills, bandaging skills, and automated external defibrillation (AED).

 


Entry Requirements:



  1. Completion of Primary 6;

  2. Possess basic English proficiency;

  3. Require First-Aid skills at work; and

  4. With working experience.

 


Course Duration:


37 hours

 


Course Mode:


Half day or evening
