Certificate in Junior Body Slimming Beautician Training

 


Course Objective:


To equip trainees with basic knowledge and techniques of a Junior Body Slimming Beautician; to furnish trainees with an overview of the Beauty industry in Hong Kong and enable them to grasp the knowledge and skills in providing customer services; and to help trainees secure an employment as a Junior Slimming Body Beautician.

 


Course Content:


This course will be conducted in English and is suitable for non-Chinese speaking eligible employees in Hong Kong who are unemployed or non-engaged. The course will introduce the industry, anatomy and physiology, Swedish massage, nutrition, theories of slimming, fundamental slimming techniques, spa and slimming treatments, body electrical treatments, demonstrations and basic theory of new popular slimming treatments, generic skills including vocational Cantonese, personal attributes and job search skills.

 


Entry Requirements:



  1. Completion of Form 3 or above; and

  2. With basic beauty therapy knowledge or at least 2 years’ related working experience; and

  3. Understand basic English; and

  4. Interest in beautician or related work; and

  5. Demonstrate inclination for employment at the admission interview.

 


Course Duration:


200 hours (approximately 6-7 weeks)
