Organisations applying for Manpower Developers (MDs) will be entitled to:
| • | Self-assessment – organisations can make reference to the Scheme’s tailor-made assessment criteria developed by the Technical Consultant for review and evaluation of the effectiveness of one’s practices in the manpower training and development aspect. |
| • | Professional assessment – organisations will be individually assessed on-site by the Technical Consultant and receive an independent report after assessment for self-evaluation and as a benchmark of manpower training and development comparing with all participating organisations for setting progressive improvement targets. |
Qualified Manpower Developers (MDs) will enjoy the following benefits:
| • | Reinforcement of corporate image – MDs are authorised to display the MD logo in their corporate communications material during the 2-year validation period. This is a tangible recognition of their achievements in manpower training and development and will reinforce their corporate image, enhance staff loyalty and attract talent. Brand recognition and corporate goodwill will also be enhanced through participating in the promotion and follow-up activities of the Scheme. |
| • | Cross-industry sharing – via contributing to the interactive exchange platform established and various activities organised by the ERB, MDs can keep abreast with the latest trends in manpower training and development with various industries. |
| • | First-hand information – MDs can receive first-hand information about courses and services of the ERB including the “Skills Upgrading Scheme Plus” (SUS Plus) in which their staff can attend to enhance their on-the-job knowledge and skills. |
