ERB to Temporarily Suspend Classroom Training from 24 January to 7 February 2022

In view of the severe COVID-19 pandemic situation with a number of confirmed cases of unknown sources recently, and to tie in with the tightened preventive measures by the Government, the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) announces that ERB courses in classroom training mode will be temporarily suspended from next Monday (24 January 2022) till 7 February 2022 with a view to safeguarding public health.  During the suspension period, ERB will continue to implement the online learning arrangement and encourage training bodies to adopt the online training mode where applicable.  ERB is currently offering over 370 online courses.  Training bodies have been notifying the trainees concerned.

 “ERB Service Centre”, “ERB Service Spots”, Regional Service Centres of “Smart Living” and office of “Smart Baby Care” will also be temporarily closed during the period.  Meanwhile, the counter service of ERB Siu Sai Wan office, ERB hotline 182 182, as well as “Smart Living” and “Smart Baby Care” referral services will maintain normal operation.
