Presentation Ceremony 2012-13
The 4th Presentation Ceremony of the “ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme” was successfully held on 25 April 2013. The Ceremony was officiated by the Hon. Matthew CHEUNG Kin-chung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr. William LEUNG Wing-cheung, BBS, JP, Chairman of the ERB, Mr. YU Pang-chun, SBS, JP, Vice-Chairman of the ERB, and Mr. Stanley NG Ka-kwong, BBS, Executive Director of the ERB. Over 400 guests from the Government, employers, business associations, professional organisations and training bodies attended the Ceremony.
A total of 62 organisations (13 of which are SMEs) were awarded as Manpower Developers (MDs) in recognition of their outstanding achievements in manpower training and development at the 4th Presentation Ceremony. In addition, a total of 52 organisations (4 of which are SMEs) passed the renewal assessment of the Scheme and were continued to be acknowledged as MDs for another 2 years. Besides, 11 MDs with the highest level of participation in the follow-up activities during 2012-13 were awarded the “Grand Prize Award”.
Through the Scheme, the ERB has created a diversified, multi-facet and sustainable interactive platform and fostered its strategic partnership with MDs to enhance the quality of human resources in Hong Kong.
