Employer Services

The Employees Retraining Board (ERB) offers a wide range of employer services and hosts various collaboration initiatives with a view to supporting the training and manpower development needs of employers while enhancing the employment opportunities of ERB's graduate trainees.

Training and Recruitment

  • One-stop Training and Employment Scheme – Provision of seamless pre-employment training, continuous upskilling and placement follow-up support services to encourage potential labour force to engage in training and join the workforce.
  • Enterprise-based Training Scheme – In-service training courses (Skills Upgrading Courses and Generic Skills Courses) can be provided to serving staff of participating employers on enterprise basis.
  • Tailor-made Programme – Employers that offer 12 or more vacancies in a particular position which requires special skill sets not covered in the placement-tied courses of ERB can apply for the “Tailor-made Programme”. Recruitment, pre-employment training and placement follow-up services will be provided to employers under the programme.
  • Online Employment Service Platform – Employers can register as service users and upload job vacancies to the platform for searching and viewing by ERB registered trainees and Training Bodies. Employers can also search for placement-tied courses to be completed, and directly contact Training Bodies for recruitment of ERB trainees.
  • Seminars, Workshops and SME Taster Courses – Veteran professionals or ERB instructors are invited to share best practices and real-life experience in manpower training and industry development for broadening professional vision and knowing more abourt ERB's skills training.

Dedicated Programmes

    • ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme – Organisations with outstanding achievements in manpower training and development are awarded as “Manpower Developer” under the Scheme, in recognition of their dedicated efforts in promoting manpower training and enhancing human capital.
    • Post-50 Internship Programme – Enterprises are invited to offer short-term internship vacancies for people aged 50 or above to equip them with the necessary mindsets and skills for re-entering the workplace.
    • Industry Promotion – In collaboration with employers of different industries, a series of workplace experience activities such as company visits, school career talks, taster courses, are organised for the young people and other service segments with a view to enhancing their understanding on the prospects of different industries and related ERB courses.

    • Employer Newsletter – Employer subscribers can receive first-hand information about ERB courses, employer services and dedicated activities.
