The Employees Retraining Board (ERB) sets up “Industry Consultative Networks” (ICNs) of different industries to strengthen partnership with our strategic partners. Representatives from trade associations, employer associations, trade unions, professional bodies, vocational training and human resources-related organisations, as well as industry experts with insight and commitment to manpower development, are invited to join. ICN members render expert advice on the manpower development and training needs of respective industries. They also advise on the design of existing ERB courses and the development of new courses to ensure that the training portfolio caters timely for market changes.
